Easter 2019 Part II: Tealight easter egg

Working on a nice centerpiece for the Easter Brunch table. Combining different materials and techniques all representing the egg shape. Today as easy as it can get: using the original egg itself. Let's bring some light on the table and use this egg shell as tealight holder. But the same technique can be used to plant small Daffodils. Easter 2019 Part I: Paper egg

It's only March, but preparations for Easter Brunch are already taking place. A while ago I had a night when I couldn't sleep because I was thinking too much. So I went to the living room, put on a little light (hoping the fish would not wake up) and wrote my ideas into a notebook. Next morning I wake up and the notebook said Eastern was going to be bold using 3 colors: yellow (ochreous ), black and white! Amigurumi Chinese Lantern

Every year I am immersed in Chinese culture at my University, which has a very close relationship with China. Around Chinese Newyear the campus atrium is decorated with dozens of lanterns which is so beautiful! This was my inspiration to create my own crocheted lanterns. Have fun making them!
