DIY paper sheets

One day I had the tiny idea to make my own paper. I remember we once did it on a Friday afternoon when we had crafts in primary school, although I didn’t remember the technique anymore. I searched online and found out it shouldn’t be that hard because it’s just making a paper slurry and shaping it into paper. My mission: go to the shop and search my materials to make windows. Turn’s out I receive pretty good results using the craziest of supply materials. Here’s how I did it! What you need? To make the window: • barbeque grill mat • insect screen • duct tape Paper slurry: • water • old paper you want to recycle. For a uniform color choose paper without print, eg. egg cartons, paper shopping bags (cutout the shop logo),… It’s important not to choose glossy paper! • Blender • Any water tub that has at least the size of your windows and is preferably not too deep. • A sponge • A towel How to make a win...

Laundry day in the fishtank

I decided to buy a fish tank with two ordinary goldfish that are now called Victor and Vero. In my opinion the best pet for a creative person like me. I now have a living decorative element! How to dress up your fish tank?   1. Think of a theme. Is there a special time of the year like Easter, Christmas, Halloween or a birthday party? But also quiet periods of the year can be fun to come up with a surprising, funny theme. Here are some possibilities:  • A room from the house like the bedroom, bathroom, garage or even the attic. •A public place like a grocery store, magazine kiosk, vegetable stall or even he church or doctor’s practice. • A country you would like to visit.
